Imagine this: a sunny Sunday morning in Onda, where nature takes center stage and people of all ages gather to celebrate life, health, and the beauty of the natural world. It is the XI Marcha Caminant Per Onda event, and it is nothing short of spectacular.
From families and couples to groups of friends and solo adventurers, we joined together in a sea of pink t-shirts. It wasn’t just a walk; it was a shared experience—a community united by a love for adventure and the outdoors.
Why We Love This March:
We can’t help but be a bit biased here, but the Caminant Per Onda holds a special place in our hearts, and not just because our company has its roots here. You see, Nucs has been responsible for designing and organizing the entire route for the third consecutive year, with certified guides ensuring everyone had fun while staying safe. And what a route it was!
Nature’s Great Performance in Onda, Castellón:
On Sunday, September 24th, the 10-kilometer journey through Onda was like a visual feast for the soul. Imagine strolling through the fascinating Azagador de la Merlota, exploring the enchanting Santa Bárbara Cave, and getting chills at the Ice Caves (Cuevas Heladas). It is nature at its finest, right on our doorstep. Source: Ajuntament d’Onda

Learning As We Go:
But it wasn’t just about the views. We had informative videos waiting for us at every stop, providing details about the natural wonders we encountered. It was like having a personal tour guide, just with a bit more screen time.
Strike a Pose with Nature:
Who doesn’t love a good selfie? The new Photo Stands installed along the route ensured we got the perfect group shot with Onda’s stunning landscapes as a backdrop. Pink t-shirts, smiling faces, and unforgettable scenery—a winning combination!

Music, Food, and Fun:
After the trek, the party continued on San Miguel Street in Onda, where the municipality served a delicious community meal. Music filled the air, and the little ones had a blast with games and activities. It was a day to remember.
